About Dr. Helen Martin Brighton Chiropractor

We are delighted to welcome Helen Martin to the team at Chiropractic Life and she is looking forward to working with you, to help you achieve the health you were born to have. Initially Helen Martin met Richard McMinn and was inspired by his enthusiasm for Chiropractic and the unique story of his five children who have never been to a doctor, and the strong wellness philosophy which is promoted at Chiropractic Life.

Helen Martin obtained her degree in Chiropractic from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Oxford, which is validated by the University of Wales. Helen has continued to learn and perfect other chiropractic techniques during her association with many different chiropractors, and regularly attends seminars and conferences to keep abreast of new developments in the field of Chiropractic.

Initially Helen studied business and languages, but became interested in the Chiropractic profession several years ago, following a skiing accident. During the recovery process her interest in the human body and it’s ability to heal itself so wonderfully, occupied her thoughts – seeds of a new career were being sown. Helen began to see that Chiropractic was not just about relieving pain and discomfort but about keeping the spine free of interference so that the body is able to do it’s own marvelous work of self healing, thereby producing vitality and a state of wellbeing.

During the time she spent in Austria, Helen spent a lot of time observing work/play challenges and the demands these make on the human body. Most rewarding has been her work with babies with colic and children with learning difficulties and it has been her privilege to witness many amazing improvements in their concentration, motor skills and speech.

Culture, art, creative pursuits, traveling, animals and the outdoors are also high on her list for relaxation.

Helen looks forward to meeting you in the clinic and helping you to a life of health and vitality through Chiropractic.
